CSR
“Energy is the golden thread that connects economic growth, increased social equity, and an environment that allows the world to thrive.” - United Nations.
Diminishing natural resources and global weather impacts demand action not only from government and individuals, but from businesses as well. Powerica’s efforts are focussed towards encouraging modern energy services.
Shifting to renewable energy can help us to meet the dual goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions (limiting future extreme weather and climate impacts) and ensuring reliable, timely and cost-efficient delivery of energy.
Involvement in renewable energy will have significant dividends for our energy security. Wind power is a sustainable, clean energy source that can be relied on for the future.
As wind is a source of energy which is non-polluting and renewable, wind turbines create power without using fossil fuels and without producing greenhouse gases or radioactive or toxic waste.
Our ISO 14001 certification is an illustration of our commitment towards a better environment. Our manufacturing facility in Bengaluru is accredited with ISO 9001:2015, IS 14001:2007 & OHSAS 18001 Certifications and spreads over 13 acres of land at Nelamangala.
The facility has an active Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in operation, with an installed capacity of 33 kilo litres per day. Approximately 30,000 litres of water is treated in the ETP every day and 20,000 litres of RO water is generated in this process.
"It pleases me immensely that Powerica is able to contribute towards a better tomorrow with it’s clean energy initiatives."
