Powerica Limited, was established in the year 1984 under the dynamic leadership of visionary Mr. Naresh Chander Oberoi. Our growth has also been supported by Bharat Oberoi, one of our Promoters, who has been involved in the generator set business for several decades as well as Kharatiram Kharak Puri, who was one of the first directors of the Company.

Powerica has evolved to become one of the leading end-to-end power solution providers in standby and prime power applications. We commenced our DG (Diesel Generator) set business in 1984, and subsequently expanded our generator set portfolio to include medium speed large generators (“MSLG”) in 1996. Building on our experience in the Generator Set Business, we entered the wind power sector in 2008 as an independent power producer (“IPP”). Subsequently, we developed capabilities as an engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) contractor as well as an operation and maintenance (“O&M”) service provider for balance of plant (“BoP”).
